I’m giving this product 3 stars, because it did do what it’s supposed to, which is colon cleanse, I didnt have any cramping or diarreah. However, I’ve noticed that the longer i’ve been using it, the less it seems to be working. So I’ve decided to take a break from it for a while and pick it back up in a month or so. It’s reasonably priced for a cleansing product that actually works and doesnt give cramps, so I would reccommend it.

Triphala is not just for regularity, it gives you much more than regularity. It is the dried form of three fruits, all indigenous to India. They are: Haritaki in Sanskrit (He Zi in Mandarin) = Chebulic myrobalan in Latin, Amalaki in Sanskrit (An Mwo Le in Mandarin) = Emblica officinalis, and Bhibitaki = Beleric myrobalan. It is part of many important classical Ayurvedic healing compounds. It removes ama (toxins) from the gastro-intestinal tract and from deep tissues. It helps to restore and maintain tone and peristalsis of the intestines. It has a slight laxative value which helps the body to eliminate regularly but without dependency. It eliminates excess pitta (acidic fire / bile) in the GI tract from the body while helping vata (space and air - wind) to move wastes down and out of the body. This may be the only laxative that does not build physiological dependency with use. By removing toxins (ama) it aids in the proper absorption of minerals and other nutrients. And because of its high vitamin C content it is used to help prevent the effects of aging. This formulation is recommended for most people in health and in disease for the duration of life.

I took two tablets at bedtime. It did nothing for me. Senna tablets are much more effective for me, so I won’t be purchasing this stuff again. Without dipping into the Too Much Information file, I suffer from regularity, so if you want something more reliable, don’t use this. It doesn’t get the job done.
