A simple one to try is some apple juice, that works for a lot of people. Of course so does prune juice but you might not have that around, and it’s nasty tasting to some people.

First thing in the morning drink a glass of warm water to which the juice of 1/2 a lime and 1 tsp honey has been added. You can buy bottles of concentrated lime juice.
Prunes.

I have found that a cup or two of coffee helps with ur bowls. also eating a few prunes. try eating a salad with oil and vinegar dressing. prune juice also would move it along faster than prunes themselves. http://www.webmd.com/ might have some answers ur seeking too. god luck to ya.
My mother used to give us castor oil for constipation. It is gentle and harmless. Some of the other things you can try is dried prunes or lots of leafy vegetables.
what works for me is this.buy a box of epsom salts.follow label.it does work.you add a little lemon juice.it is cheap and works very gooda little hard to get down.but you dont get that sudden urge, if you know what i mean.
There are lots of remedies . I take Braggs apple cider vinegar. Try prunes, raisins, apples , beans, or a little castor oil all of these are good natural remedies for constipation. Hope it helps!
eat a bowl of butter popcorn and the next morning BAM it works……trust me works every time
Epsom salt might be the cheapest, although not the tastiest thing to ingest with “fast” results. If you want to, try supplementing your diet with some oil like the Omega-3 fish oil that is so popular, or small amounts of a vegetable oil (olive oil)….
Fresh fruit will help thngs along, but you should probably expect to BM once or twice a day….
listen I had the same problems. I went to lots of doctors to find out what was wrong with me….turns out I had IBS irriatable bowel syndrome. I used to have the worst pains in my abdomen. constant aching pain. Ibs-is stress related if you are really stressed out the worse it will be try calming down. They put me on pills for it but i became immune. I got off the pills and tryed to relax more I take metamucil sometimes…and drink coffee to help me go.
Treatment: The most important factor in curing constipation is a natural and simple diet. This should consist of unrefined food such as whole grain cereals, bran, honey, molasses, and lentills; green and leafy vegetables, especially spinach, French beans, tomatoes, lettuce, onion, cabbage, cauliflower, brussels, sprouts, celery, turnip, pumpkin, peas, beets, asparagus, carrot; fresh fruits, especially pears, grapes, figs, papayas, mangoes, grapefruit, gooseberries, guava, and oranges; dry fruits such as figs, raisins, apricots and dates; milk products in the form of butter, ghee, and cream.
Regular drinking of water is beneficial not only for constipation but also for cleaning the system, diluting the blood and washing out poisons. Normally six to eight glasses of water should be taken daily, as it is essential for digesting and dissolving food nutrients so that they can be absorbed and utilised by the body. Water should, however, not be taken with meals as it dilutes the gastric juices essential for proper digestion. Water should be taken either half an hour before or an hour after meals.
Hope this helps, Good Luck.
aloe vera in capsule for or juice is very helpful and doesnt irritate your digestive tract.
Try taking some B12 vitamins. You can buy these over the counter at any pharmacy.
I am anemic and I have to take Iron which can cause constipation. I also take B12 and it seems to loosen things up. In fact, a couple hours after I get a B12 shot I had better be by the bathroom.
B12 isn’t dangerous like Iron if you take too much. My doctor said that if you get to much B12 your body will just pass it on through.
I would only recommend taking the daily dosage and it may take a few days to work.
Good luck!
You need at least 30 % of Fiber in your diet. You will get the Fiber from 100% Bran from the Cerial. and other from your fruits and vegaetalbles you eat every day. That should take care of it and you should not have a problem with constipation any more. You can use olive oil in your cooking, and Fish Oil is good to have in your diet for yout heart. But the Fiber will take care of your problem.
